Emily Herren was raised in West Chester, PA where she trained under Donna Muzio at The Dance Center. Through high school she performed with the Brandywine Ballet Theatre. After graduating she attended Goucher College for biology where she was also active in the college’s dance department, performing works choreographed by faculty and guest artists such as Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Ann Marie DeAngelo, and Nilas Martins. After college she attended The George Washington Univeristy to persue her masters degree in Forensic Biology. While at GW she performed with and taught classes for the GW ballet group “Balance”. Since graduating she has been working as a Forensic DNA Analyst and has been guest performing with Ballet Nova Center for Dance. Emily has been a Gin Dance Company member since 2011.
