Lindsay trained at the Classical Ballet Academy of Northern Virginia under the direction of Cynthia Donavin, Nell Hacker, and Sally Hart. She studied at a number of prestigious summer dance intensives around the nation, including the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Richmond Ballet on scholarship. Lindsay graduated with a B.F.A. and a minor in Dance from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2009. While at VCU, she also toured and performed as a trainee for two years with the Richmond Ballet.
After finishing her traineeship, Lindsay danced professionally with the Starr Foster Dance Project, Willie Hinton’s contemporary jazz company, and Dancin’ Unlimited. She has performed at national dance festivals and showcases, as well as on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage with Gin Dance Company. In 2015, she co-produced a multimedia dance show that enjoyed a successful world premiere in the Capital Fringe Festival. Lindsay has been a Gin Dance Company member since 2012.
