Hailing from Herndon, Virginia, Lindsay began dancing at the age of three. She fell in love with dance and trained for six years at the Classical Ballet Academy under the direction of Cynthia Donavin Rudorfer, Nell Hacker, and Sally Hart. She studied at a number of prestigious summer dance intensives around the nation, including the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Richmond Ballet on scholarship. She has had the honor of performing in Washington D.C. as a finalist in the Washington Post’s Music and Dance Scholarship Awards in. In 2005, Lindsay joined the trainee program at the Richmond Ballet and performed with them for two years. Since graduating from the trainee program there, she had the pleasure of being a member of several companies, including the modern dance company, Starr Foster Dance Project, the eclectic Rapture Dance in Richmond, and as pro ekoh dance, a modern company based in Wasington, DC. She has performed jazz with Dancin’ Unlimited under the direction of Marilyn York. Lindsay has been a Gin Dance Company member since 2012.
