Therese, a native from northern Virginia has been dancing since six years old. She primarily received her dance training from the Washington School of Ballet (WSB). As a student, she had many opportunities to dance alongside the Washington Ballet Company, where she performed at many notable venues such as the Warner Theater, the Kennedy Center, and the White House. In her graduating performance from WSB, she performed the featured role of Nikiya from La Bayadere, Act II. In 2007, she spent one year performing as a member of Ballet West II. There, she performed in many ballets, including Prokovsky’s Three Musketeers, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Stars and Stripes. She also participated in a state-wide tour with Ballet West II, performing a mini-production of Sleeping Beauty for local public elementary schools throughout the year.
For the spring of 2012, Therese graduated Cum Laude from George Mason University, where she took up a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology. Throughout her college career, she taught ballet and creative movement at many dance studios in the metropolitan area, including Citydance, Maryland Youth Ballet and Virginia Ballet Theater. Therese joined Gin Dance Company in 2012.
