We all recognize the huge value arts and culture play in our society and how they contribute to the quality of our lives. At GDC, we pour our heart and soul into every production we create to impact, inspire, and brighten lives. We have a tremendous passion and love for what we do, but we need your support to help us to keep moving forward and keep arts alive.
It’s been a very busy and exciting 2016 – 2017 season at GDC… We’ve completed some wonderful performances including our season opening production “Inner Voice” at THEARC Theater, presented our ‘Spring in Your Step’ production at the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival, we were thrilled to be commissioned in presenting our newest work ‘Hello! Goodbye!’ at the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, guest performing at the Taiwan Cultural Center’s Taiwan Night Concert at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center and BalletNova Spring Concert. In addition to these great events, we had a great pleasure joining VTDance’ ‘What’s Going On’ production – Special tribute to Mavin Gaye at the Reston CenterStage. This fall we are so excited to share an innovative production ‘The Other Side’ with the audience on October 21! The funds raised during our 7-8-9 Campaign will help us cover the cost of our exciting 2017 – 2018 season of productions and keep our artists working and creating to bring excellence in performing arts to the community. You can help us achieve our goal of raising the needed funds with your tax deductible contribution.

We Kicked Off GDC’s ‘Deep eMotion 7500’ Fundraising Campaign!! Help us Achieve Our Goal!

We are excited to let you know GDC’s ‘Deep eMotion 7500’ campaign has started and it runs through October 25, 2012.
What’s ‘Deep eMotion’? ‘Deep eMotion’ is GDC’s full evening production which will take place at Center Stage in the Reston Community Center on Octobor 25th! We are so excited to share with you a beautiful evening with ShuChen’s origional works ‘Simply Bach’, ‘The Core’, ‘Deja Vu’, and ‘Just Because’ along with guest choreographer Constance Walsh’s ‘City Thoughts’.
What does 7500 mean? $7,500 is the amount it will cost us to conduct this event. We have to pay for the theater rental, rehearsal expenses, costumes, technicians, videographer, printing and more. Our talented dancers and choreographers are working long hours putting forth tireless efforts to bring performing arts to the community. You can help us achieve our goal of raising the needed funds with your tax deductible contribution.
