GDC’s ‘Dear Mr. Cooper’ last performance at VelocityDC Dance Festival at the Shakespeare Theatre – Sidney Harman Hall last night… The wonderful Washington Performing Arts Society (WPAS) prepared water and food in the Green Room. We all got to hang out and meet other artists there… and let’s just say ‘What happens in Green Room, stays in Green Room.’ 😉

Last night was the opening performance at VelocityDC Dance Festival at Shakespeare Theatre – Sidney Harman Hall. Amazing performance by so many incredible artists around Metro DC area. GDC dancers Kaitlin and Therese did a beautiful job in ‘Dear Mr. Cooper’ tonight! So proud of them!!! Peter DiMuro was the host of the evening and his humor through the night charmed the audience. From I495 (the Beltway)
Take 267 W (the Dulles Toll Rd.)
Take Exit 12 (Reston Pkwy)
Go South on Reston Pkwy
Turn left on Southlakes Dr.
Turn Right on Colts Neck Rd.
Go 1/8 of mile to the village at Hunters Woods on left (Safeway Shopping Center)
Park at the shopping center and the CenterStage entrance is behind Ledo’s Pizza.

This work is choreographed by Artistic Director Shu-Chen Cuff. Is there someone in your life whom you’ve been wanting to express something to, but never had chance… They maybe someone you were so inspired by or admired, or someone you greatly appreciated that he/she had been a great help to you. You wish you had kept in touch with that special person… You wished you had expressed your feelings towards them… Maybe now they’ve passed away…
