Do you know what’s today? Today is the122nd anniversary of the world premiere of the Nutcracker! It was performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg on Sunday, December 18, 1892, on a double-bill with Tchaikovsky’s opera, Iolanta.

Three GDC Dancers will be guest performing with the Olney Ballet Theatre (OBT) December 19 through December 24! Kaitlin, Therese, and Jane will be dancing in Mary Day’s, Founder of The Washington Ballet, original ‘The Nutcracker’ and it’s directed by OBT’s Artistic Director Patricia Berrend.
